Nylon roper style reins are a great easy choice for comfortable reins. These are 3/4" thick, so they're comfortable to hold, and they're 8 feet long so you have room. The bit end of the reins has leather waterloops and snaps for the easiest use possible. The hardware is stainless steel for longevity.
